Exam Overview
The purpose of the UPSC CMS 2024 exam is to assess applicants’ medical knowledge and skills to place them in government medical positions. Two papers made up the exam:
- Paper I examined the candidates’ knowledge in general medicine and pediatrics, two important fields.
- Paper II: Examining a wider range of medical knowledge, this paper covered obstetrics, surgery, gynecology, and preventive and social medicine.
