NEET 2024 Marking Scheme
- For a Correct answer, four marks will be given
- For an Incorrect Answer, one mark will be deducted
- For Unanswered questions, zero marks will be awarded
NEET Counselling 2024
The NEET examinations are conducted to shortlist the students for admission to the colleges for the Udner Gardiate course. The counseling will be conducted as below.
- 15% All India Quota seats: The MCC organization reserved 15% of the seats for the gove colleges and it is called the central level counseling.
- 85% State Quota seats: The center has given the authority to the state govt to fill up 85% of seats in state govt colleges or state private colleges.
- Central Institutes/Universities/Deemed Universities: The students who did not get admission to govt or private colleges can go for admission to Deemed Universities. The counseling was based on the NEET marks.
- State/Management/NRI Quota seats: The colleges have management-level seats and the NRI seats are a quota and the students can apply for these seats as per the criteria of the college.
- Central Pool Quota seats: There is another method to get admission in the colleges based on the NEET score through the Central Pool quota.
