- For Main Exam: A fee of ₹150/-must be paid by candidates.
- For Preliminary Exam: Applicant must pay a fee of Rs. 100/-.
Conditions & Requirements for eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must be university graduates in order to be considered for a number of positions. These are outlined below:
- Deputy Commercial Tax Officer: B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. degree required.
- Assistant Inspector: A degree from any accredited college.
- Forester: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with a focus on certain disciplines.
- Junior Employment Officer: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, science, or the arts.
- Sub Registrar, Grade-II: B.L. holders are given precedence in the degree.
Age Limit
The candidate’s category-specific age restrictions are as follows:
- For GEN candidates: The age range for candidates in the general category is 18 to 32 years old.
- For Specific Posts: 26 to 42 years old, depending on the role and other requirements.
- For Reserved candidates: SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, and BCMs18 years is the minimum, 37 years is the highest.
TNPSC Group II & IIA Services Selection Process
- Common Preliminary Exam: This is a screening test that is part of the preliminary examination. The main test is only open to individuals who meet the requirements to take it.
- Test of endurance: This is a requirement for the Forest Department’s Forester position as well as TAFCORN.
- Separate Main Assessment: Questions on this test are objective and descriptive in nature, and they are based on the Group II and IIA services’ particular syllabus.
